We have said it time and time again that the only weapons that can be used in the war that is upon us are the weapons of the Spirit and the Law. Accordingly, our first responsibility, if we hope to win the battle, is we must get righteous; that is to say, we have to get ourselves right with our Creator in all that we do or have done and then our work to learn the law and apply it will be supported by our Creator’s promised support.
In that light, we are fortified by seeing people all over the world awakening to the reality of the necessity of turning back to our Creator and His Law as the foundation for everything else. Thus, it gives us pleasure to see people that have been in religious contest for centuries are now coming together through their study of the Hebrew language.
People are starting to realize the necessity of studying the Bible (and accordingly, Torah—the first five books of the Old Testament) in its original language, Hebrew. Our own study of Hebrew proves much truth can be revealed by that study. It is truly impossible to translate an ancient hieroglyphic language like Hebrew directly into English. Thus, the only good way to understand the original written word of Law (Torah) is to learn Biblical Hebrew.
That is especially interesting to us because Hebrew is the only language in the history of the world that literally died as a spoken language around 70 A.D. and was resurrected (around 1880 A.D.) largely due to the vision and work of one man, Eliezer ben Yehudah. This is promising because it all started with one man’s vision and from there it grew to today, people all over the world are learning Hebrew so they can study the Bible in the language of its origin. To us this is proof that we can awaken a nation lost in apathy. We see Jews, Christians and Muslims all studying Torah in its original language and accordingly turning to the Messiah, due to what they learn in that study of the Law.
The other day someone forwarded us a video of a large group of people in Singapore singing praises to the Lord in Hebrew and English. It was so awesome to see such a large body of young people from a country that is not thought of as Christian or Jewish, yet their joy in singing such praises gave us a lift we felt compelled to pass on. We especially appreciated the message of hope in standing against any adversary the song they sing expresses; so we had to present the video here. We hope you enjoy it.
We hope this brightens your day and is helpful to you.
Tell everybody about Team Law!
